BookClub/Scripture Reading

(S)-Prov. 14:1- A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

(O)-Two things- Build and Tear.

(A)-I guess this reminds me of two different reality TV shows. But I won't name them for the sake of time. But overall I'm inspired by godly women that are an example of love and respect to their Hubbies, and who are gentle and kind in their words to their children, because that is the way I want to be. I admire how they follow the scriptures. In 1 Peter Ch. 3 It says: let it be the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God. If we can be that example of Love to the Lord, then our Son's and our Daughter's will learn what it's like to treat one another, and if It's Gods will when they build a family it will be upon the ROCK. Build your home on Jesus because everything else fails. Let us build our children up in faith, hope, and love. May we be watchful of our words, not allowing any corrupt word tear their spirit down. I'm guilty as charged. But I want to be a good wife, and mother so the kids rise up and call me blessed. Every day is new, and Just as the walls of Jerusalem were broken down for so many years, Ones family can be broken for years, but God can begin to restore what the locust have eaten up. It's never to late to start. God raised up a man named Nehemiah to help restore the walls to protect the Jews. And God can use us to restore broken spirits in our children, and to protect our children from outside influences. May The Lord show us how to build, and keep us from tearing down.

(P)- Dear father in heaven, Let me build up my children in their most holy faith. Please help me to see my children as arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior, ready to shoot them out into the world, to go and preach the Gospel. Help me to respect my Hubby so that we can be the best influence and truest example to our children. Give me wisdom as the woman of the home, to build upon the ROCK, and to make my home a sanctuary for all who dwell. Help me to train the family to live by the Holy Spirit, and to not feed the flesh, so they are built up in love, not strife. Dear Jesus, Please help.

BTW, The method that the book club is using is the SOAP method. Write out the (Scripture), (Observe) at least two things that the scripture reveals to you, share at least two (Applications) regarding the scripture, (Pray) what you have learned. It's as easy as 123. The Lords burden is easy. Anyhow, if you would still like to join this online book/club/study, let me Know, I get you all set up.
