Book Club/Bible Study

Good Morning Girls!

(S)- Prov. 31: 26-28 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.

(O)- Does not eat the bread of idleness and everyone rises up and calls her blessed.

(A)- When I have a lazy day (and I have them here and there), this scripture runs ramped through my mind. If I'm on the couch eating a bowl of ice cream, chips, and a bucket load of junk food all day with the kids watching reruns, while the laundry is in jeopardy, the kids are still in Jammie's, and it's almost time for dad to walk through the door from slaving all day in the worldly jungle, fighting the battle to win the bread for the family, then I have eaten the bread of idleness. How pitiful is that? One lazy day every once in awhile is fine, but to let the house go to pot is not healthy, and I don't think my Hubby will praise me if the house looks like a we had a party. I think if the kids and Hubby are in a rut, then they can't rise up and call Mama blessed.

(P)-  ABBA FATHER, You know the desire of my heart. And you know that I have to manage my home with diligence. So please Lord, May I not fall into a pit, or bring the rest of the family in bondage to it. Thank you Lord for your strength to endure, even if the flesh fights against it. Help me to not be rigged either cuz I know the kids are not happy with a task master ether. Give me balance.  Thank you in Jesus Name Amen!
