Bird House: $1.99 from Michael's Craft store
Acrylic Paints: Choose an assorted colors (about four to five of your favorite) try to build contrast within your scheme of colors. Painting is the hard part. If you accidentally blend your colors, just wash of and repaint. choose an assortment of brushes that can fit into tiny crevasses. Paints $2, brushes $5.99, all reusable for another project.
Flowers & Ribbon: All glued on by a glue gun. Rhine stones, flowers, or other patterns are all scrap book material that can be purchased at Michael's craft store for a few dollars each (or dug up if on hand). You may also paint different patters with a permanent oil based ink pen using swirly patterns from stencils.
