Random Pictures From the Thrasher Home

On days like this, I like to lean over my balcony and take in the fresh scenery, and air.
It's a blessing to know that I have a decent view of the mountains, and some pretty horses from my balcony. For eight long years, I starred out the window at a stucco wall.

Miss Ahava's hospital bed when she was sick with the flu for a week.

After she got better, she tried to convince Gabe and I that her mattress was in the perfect spot.

I'm only half way through this wonderful book that inspired me to watch the episodes. Praise god I found them on Netflix. Now I have two years to catch up on. But it was fun watching them for the first time while the kids barfed in their buckets. I watched two seasons, I think that's 23 episodes. It made me feel right at home ever time one of their kids barfed. I also found myself not getting as frustrated, and talking in a more sweet tone to my children. It felt good not to yell at them for a week. I think I may be back to normal.

Elias in his hospital room. I have the barf bucket, crackers, towels, paper towels, pedialite, and all the essentials of keeping baby comfortable while he suffers from a four day flu, without eating a meal.

We decided to make a disaster prepared kit for the house. We put in things such as canned food, bottled water, flash lights, whistles, medical supplies, and much more.

Homeschooling has been like a car going downhill without any gas. We are coasting along, trying to get the learning essentials in, such as Biblical studies, math, reading, Character building, etc.

Silliness goes along way in our home. It's medicine to the bones. I love the fact that the kids get along sometimes.

This is on Saturday, the day before Easter Sunday. Lets just call this our late anniversary photo.

Trinity at Great Grandmas house. She is not camera shy, and to every ones shock... is starting to come out of her shell.

Elias hunts for Easter eggs at Great Grandmas.

Trinity was super motivated to try and find any, and every egg she set her eyes on. She thought she found the most as she dragged her little Star Bux bag around screaming for the next egg. I'm sure there were hundreds that they all found.

Trinity refuses to allow her mother to cut her hair, or to put in some pretty bows. That's OK.

The Duggar Ice Cream pie, being enjoyed by every single one of us.

Calvin's Happy that he found most of the eggs that contained money.

All tired out from hunting, eating, and watching Cars.

Great Aunt Judy, and Trinity

I set this picture up. It is SO cute.I love those Charlie Brown Eyes.

These two sit together in the back of our Little Red Wagon.

I made this for my Mom's birthday which was Easter Day. Maybe I need to take this advice about the ticket.

My friend Lisa blessed me with a Tupperware bin full of wood that I can paint on. This was something that I wanted to do for myself. I'm getting into the old rugged folk art.

I painted this one with much, patience. But I love lady bugs.

Great Aunt Judy came to visit on Easter Day which was a sweet blessing. First off, no one hardly visits (I can count on my fingers), Gabe had to work so it was nice having company (especially for the kids), and she helped me make a yummy rice chicken dish. the day turned out to be a very pleasant day.

This is what a big sister will do to a little brother. Put him in a basket with a blanket. I thought it was a crib, but it's baby Moses being sent up the river.

I love to have white boards in the house.

This is one of my favorites to make. Tamale Casserole.

Dad trying to figure out how to carefully open the kite package. We are polar opposites. I would have torn into it. But I mess allot up too.

Elias says, "It's my turn"!

It was a nice and windy day in Chino.

I have no idea what that look is about, but who can resist that cute face?
