Artistic Kids

Our older boys are very artistic but until yesterday we had no idea to what extent Trinity might be gifted. In the boys room there are two "themes". On Ezekiel's side there is a black wall with thousands of white dots, our solar system, and THE HEAVENS DECLARE THE GLORY OF GOD written in glow in the dark paint. At the other side he has his remote controlled night light moon next to his space curtains. Calvin's side has his favorite characters such as Moses, David, Jacob, Job, and of course Jesus. We also hung lots of pictures of animals from an old calendar and colored them with a fluorescent yellow highlighter. Everything is outlined in glow in the dark puff paint.

Trinity had her little artistic moment earlier on in the day. She drew daddy a beautiful picture with a yellow highlighter, and mom drew a flower for her. We got the boys a black light for their room. We wanted to test it out before nighttime so our whole family crammed into the bathroom plugged it in; and low and behold... Trinity is glowing brighter than everyone. She had yellow lipstick, and yellow eyeliner directly on her eyelids; very fashionably I might add. We wanted a picture of her but couldn't get the camera to adjust to the black light. The boy's room looks so much fun. Our next project is to hang up Calvin's eight foot mural of the six days of creation which he will be sharing in the talent show along with his reciting the whole 1st chapter of Genesis.
