This is a video that I want to contribute to Jennifer as she had the opportunity to visit an old historical site in the United States. Saint Augustine's Old Lighthouse In Florida. It seems to be a beautiful site. Jennifer has a good eye and a gift for taking pictures. Lighthouses are a reminder of how Faithful our God is. He leads us through this dark and scary world into His marvelous light. Jesus is the way The TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT BY HIM. John 14:6.
Jesus died for Me, For You, And for the sins of the whole world. And God has made a way to get to heaven ,and that is through His Son Jesus. Jesus shed every drop of His sinless blood on the cross so that The Fathers wrath against humans could be appeased. God is Holy And pure and cannot look upon sin. So Jesus stands in the place of all who accept Him. He represents those who admit that they are not perfect and that they fall short. But if one tries to come to The Father on their own righteousness or their own terms believing that God grades on the curve, or on how religious they are, or how many good works they have done, Then they are wrong. God desires perfection, and since no one on the face of the earth is perfect we need Jesus who was sent by God the Father to cover our sins with the Blood. Jesus is a gift that should be received , not bought or worked for.
Don't wander through this world like a boat out on the sea lost. Follow the light, and the One who died for your sins so that you can live forever in Heaven with Him.
If you have not accepted Jesus as Savior, then simply ask God to forgive you of your sins. Admit that you are not perfect enough on your own righteousness to enter into Gods, Holy, pure presence, and accept His Son Jesus. You don't have to do anything to attain for heaven. Jesus did it all.
How Lighthouses work
By: Calvin
There are three different types of Lighthouses. The most popular is the revolving lighthouse. The way that it works is mainly, mirrors. A small lamplight is placed on a revolving plate which shines on a mirror that also revolves. Even the smallest light can get big on this special mirror. It shines out to the sea to show boats and ships where the dock is. Sadly there are not very many lighthouses today because of recent technology advances in radar. Most remaining lighthouses become historic land sites.
the other two type are the One place lighthouse, and the Turning lighthouse. For more information on lighthouses do your own search on lighthouses
