THE BIRTHDAY BOY
Yesterday was Gabe's birthday. I won’t tell you how old he is, but I thought real hard about what I should do for his thirty-first birthday (oops) since my regular tradition of throwing him a birthday party didn’t happen this year. Nothing came to my mind except that I wanted to buy him a Lazy Boy recliner.
So Calvin wakes up with the birds to play the Happy Birthday tune on his piano, an then comes in our room to yell out happy birthday. I tell him to go make breakfast for himself and get ready for the day. I arrive downstairs to see a Jewish meal prepared for Gabe, meal included pita bread, & juice, a fork, spoon & knife wrapped in a napkin, and the Star of David made out of popsicle sticks.
We all ate quick food like waffles and cereal, got dressed, and headed out to Peet’s coffee, which is where Gabe wanted me to take him. I kept warning him not to convert to Peet’s but he insists on walking right into that temptation. I told him, " For Peet’s sake, stop talking about their coffee!"
We walk around a bit then go into Barnes and Noble. Gabe gets a book, and then we head over to a mall where they have a Sam Ash and a Starbucks store that sells Starbucks merchandise. It was boring, the whole store was discontinued tumblers and coffee mugs. We left then went to Dafne's Greek Café. Yummy! I love Greek salads. Gabe and I sat outside and enjoyed the cool breeze as the kids fed the birds.
We then headed to the furniture stores only to be stalked by the salesmen. The furniture in some of the stores was just as much as a car. We left empty handed, then headed to the 99 cent store to get a test. Then we went home where Gabe was surprised with the biggest birthday gift of all.
Yes you guessed it.
2 LINES MEANS POSITIVE
Maybe I’ll have Gabe go back and get the Lazy Boy for me, because I have felt so sick and very lazy. I thought that I was backsliding. I didn’t want to do anything but sleep and eat and let the boys play Mario Kart. Everything irritates me to the point where I feel like a big grump. I even told Gabe that I was mad because he got me pregnant again. He asked why I wasn’t happy. I looked at him and said; Screaming babies, no quiet time, no sleep, no room, etc. etc. My body can’t handle it. Gabe has always been more of the optimist.
God is doing something miraculous with our family. It’s growing like a weed. And it’s going to make my parents happy and proud again. My mom already boasts about having five grandchildren. And my Dad loves to hear the stories that I share with him about our little rascals. He also likes to laugh when he hears them scream over the phone while they drive their mother nuts.
I’m sure that Gabe’s family will be surprised and happy also. Christmas is going to be all the more merry.
I hope I get some good suggestions on names. Preferably Girl names because that’s what I’m praying for. Girls are sweet and sour. Trinity is so loveable, but she sure has a sassy little mean streak to her.
I have so many thoughts on this that I can’t seem to get them all out. Gabe has all of the many sentimental sayings. Hope I get some feedback.

Well you furtile baby machine. What a blessing! I have learned that a
mom's reaction to a pregnancy is no indication to the great mother
she is or becomes. When I found out I was expecting Gino I cried
for 3 months. I thought he did not "fit" my plans, God on the other
hand had a "better" plan for me! Everyday I thank him for the gift
of Gino! Hey should we think of 2 names in case it's a set? Ha Ha
wouldn't that be something! I am thrilled for your whole family.
As Paul did, count it all joy!

Well now I know why you were pushing the blog. Congratulations!!! I
had Grandma read it too. She said "God bless you and hope you will not
have a difficult time."
Since you seemed troubled by your new Jannette, you should reread the
part of your blog where you talk about being "Content where the Lord
places you."
Love you all
Judy
